Humanities Department

In the first semester of Year 10, students will learn about a variety of geographical concepts and issues that we face around the world. From Global Warming to Sustaining Urban Environment, students will gain a broad understanding of the impact of the environment.

Students will also look at finding the right career towards the end of Term Two. They will gain knowledge about how to write a successful resume and be prepared for job interviews.

Encourage your sons or daughters to read newsletters, newspapers or watch news on a daily basis in order to enhance their knowledge about the geographical issues that we have in the World. This will provide them the opportunity to participate in discussion and share their thoughts about these types of issues in class.
